At a F.A.T.E. meeting, a member showed us a website she had found called Talk About Curing Autism (T.A.C.A.) Now. She pointed it out because it has an article about how to get an iPad, or another “touch device”, for your child.
It also explains how to get the device written into your child’s IEP!
“Augmentative Communication (AC)/Assistive Technology (AT) device funding options include public school, private insurance, Medicaid, grants and private pay.”
